Space tourism is an important upcoming industry. In order to prepare space tourists and scientists for suborbital space flights in a realistic and efficient way, the Space Training Academy has developed a tailor-made training programme in cooperation with the Delft University of Technology and the Desdemona Motion Simulator.
The training involves a Zero Gravity Flight, spatial disorientation and motion sickness training and general knowledge about space & astronomy. Also human factors causing physical and mental stress will be addressed. During this presentation we will deal with some of the main hurdles which space tourists need to overcome in order to be able to fulfill their space flight.
